About Lone Star Art Guild
The Lone Star Art Guild (LSAG) organization offers independent, qualifying art leagues an opportunity to connect and compete with one another both virtually and in person and at a local and regional level. With different skill divisions, as well as multiple media categories, artists compete on a peer-to-peer level. All artists are encouraged to enter a LSAG sanctioned show hosted by any member league. To see a list and distance map of our member leagues, go to Get Connected/Find a Local League. Click here to download our by-laws and learn more about LSAG.

Mission
The mission of the Lone Star Art Guild is to offer member artists optimum exposure to other leagues through local and regional competitions. We are on Facebook and offer a user-friendly website that posts winning artists with their art. Our website also provides links to member leagues where additional information about each league can be provided.

History
The Lone Star Art Guild started in Brenham, Texas in April 1961. The purpose of the association was to provide an annual exhibit/competition featuring award-winning art under the leadership of an executive board made up of different leagues. Since our early days nearly 60 years ago, we have grown from encompassing leagues within a 200-mile radius of Houston to including the entire state of Texas. Our leagues celebrate traditional as well as contemporary mediums. Member leagues encourage artists of every level from elementary student to professional--unique in the art world. LSAG is a non-profit organization.
